Dr. Kelly Manser

Resident in Clinical Psychology
(She/Her)

  • I have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and am completing my postdoctoral residency at Watermark in preparation for licensure. My education has taken me to Massachusetts, Illinois, South Carolina, and now back to my hometown of Norfolk. Before graduate school, I was a research coordinator for NIH-funded studies related to medical education, chronic pain, and substance use.

I have specialized training in assessment and treatment of psychosocial concerns related to living with medical conditions. My clinical interests and experience also include reproductive behavioral health and general psychotherapy with teens and adults. I value diversity, fairness, and inclusion, and I am committed to cultural humility as a professional and personal practice.

I remain an avid researcher, and my scholarship to date has included LGBTQ+ health, chronic illness, and health within close relationships.

In my spare time I enjoy hiking, baking, and catching up with family and friends. I am a lifelong lover of dogs, indie rock music, and all things related to New England.
